Volo, a 6’11” center from Westbury, NY, began his career right here in Herkimer, NY, where he helped anchor the Generals’ frontcourt. He later transferred to Saint Augustine’s University, continuing his development at the NCAA Division II level before taking his game to the professional stage overseas
Known for his size, shot-blocking, and toughness in the paint, Chris brings a true rim-protecting mentality to the OGs — and now he returns to Herkimer, ready to make history all over again.
The Herkimer Originals are proud to announce Christopher Volo as the 11th official member of our TBT 2025 roster — and the symbolism is no accidenthe 11 people featured on the cover of ‘Nais-MYTH: Basketball’s Stolen Legacy’ represent the original Herkimer team — the legacy we’re proud to fight for every time we hit the court.
Just like those pioneers, Christopher Volo is our 11th man, carrying that spirit forward with the Herkimer Originals.
